Saw it last night in a packed house, amazingly more adults than kids in attendance and that's okay because even reading Deathly Hollows..it's definitely geared towards an older audience (I believe she darkened things as her reader base grew older because she felt they could handle it..but that's likely another topic of its own)...there were some real laugh out loud moments and the audience did just that. The hubby hasn't read any of the books so he's never sure what to expect next, watching his reactions are always almost as much fun as watching the movie itself and yesterday was no different. On the other hand I have read them all and knew what to expect and still I laughed right out loud, held my breath in parts, and cried like a damn baby at the end. HP is definitely going out with a bang!

I'm glad you enjoyed it! I hate that they broke this last movie up into two. I hated it with the LoTR series and I'm sure I'll hate it with this too. It's sooo long to wait.

I wasn't too thrilled that they broke it up either, until I saw this one. I still hate the waiting now but this one was over two hours long and if they had done the whole thing and stayed as close to the book as part one did..oi...five/six hour movie anyone? I honestly had sat in that theater seat about as long as my back and backside could take it..so for that I'm grateful they split it.
Where they split it was a good choice, I had assumed it would be the obvious choice but Hollywood's obvious and my obvious do not always agree, on this we did!
