Welcome everyone!

This board was created out of, what I thought was a need, to bring the females of the gaming community together.

Let's face it, we're outnumbered. I hope this will be a friendly and inviting place for ALL females, no matter their gaming background or experience, to come together and feel comfortable here.

In my years of gaming I've seen it all. I realize there are special stories we can likely ALL share of good gaming experiences, yet overall, I think the majority of girls can say that we're treated differently than "the boys" and a good number of experiences were frustrating to say the least! From not being taken seriously because "we possibly can't know what we're talking about" to "ZOMG you are a girl?!? Droolz!" - its all...well...just annoying.

Here we WILL be taken seriously and heard. We will not have to worry about being drooled all over or told we don't know what we're talking about cause we're just dumb gurlz.

I think as girls we have different perspectives on gaming and insights. Let's share them all...and make this place a gaming "home away from home" where no boys are allowed!

Well, I do not have the authority here to say yay or nay, since it isn't my board, but, personally, I would not mind a GENTLEMAN or two here. Just so long as ye act like a gentleman.

I speak from experience here when I agree with what was posted above, far too often, us girl gamers are not treated very respectfully in male-dominated gamer boards.

My own take would be...I care not what you got or don't got...as long as you act respectful...I'd say anyone who acts respectful would be welcome.
